About DesignerCon
Since its inception in 2005, DesignerCon has established itself as the premier collectibles, art, and designer convention. The annual show boasts more than 40,000 attendees, 850 vendors, and continues to grow year over year as it celebrates a wide array of aspects from the world of design. As DesignerCon returns for its first IRL convention at the Anaheim Convention Center this year, we expect over 50,000 attendees and 300 vendors from around the world.
The driving force behind DesignerCon lies in our community, characterized by its uniqueness and enthusiasm for art, culture, and design. From day one, our community has been loyal, returning year after year to support local and global artists and continues engaging heavily through our social channels. Because we discovered back in the early 2000s how fragmented the artist community was, our number one priority has always been and will continue to be connection — as artists, as collectors, but most importantly, as people.
As a token of our appreciation, we are giving back to you all, the reason we are here today. We’re taking on the next big step in evolving our brand by re-introducing the mascot you all know and love, Vincents, in a brand new way!

What has Vincent been up to?
For the past year, our beloved toy builder has been on a mission to bring new innovative experiences to this year’s DesignerCon. Having discovered the potential of blockchain technology, Vincent has been working tirelessly on something special to share with all his friends. That’s when he had the idea, of Vincents.
Follow Vincent’s journey to bring his visions to life through our ongoing comic series created by special friend of Vincent, Luke McGarry.
What is Vincents?
Vincents is a new DesignerCon exclusive membership collectible powered by innovative blockchain technology that will allow us to curate online and IRL experiences for our community like never before. Just like a collectible, Vincents will be extremely limited in supply. And in addition to owning the very first DesignerCon exclusive Vincent digital collectible, holders will be given exclusive perks and rewards for simply being a part of our ecosystem. The chance to forge physical collectibles, access to exclusive events, early-access to all things DesignerCon, and more — the possibilities are endless.
Inspiration Behind Vincent As a young kid Vinny liked to collect as a hobby. When Vinny grew up to become Vincent, that hobby became a passion that he wanted to share with the world. In a way, Vincent represents all collectors and artists in the world. Nobody can accurately explain where this obsession to create or collect comes from, but those who try can all relate to Vincent.
Why Web3 DesignerCon has never been one to shy away from innovation as we believe this is how we can move forward as a community. Over the last year and half, we’ve been paying close attention to the development of web3 technology and, specifically, NFT’s. As one of the pioneers of collectible culture, we believe NFT’s will be an integral part of collecting both digital and physical assets. NFT’s allow us to simultaneously:
- Create a closer connection between us and our community
- Support emerging artists and brands in ways that weren’t possible before
- Finding new ways to change the relationship between brands and consumers
- Authenticate and verify ownership of certain collectibles
- and much, much more!
The artist - Scott Tolleson
The design of Vincents came from the mind of DesignerCon’s very own, Scott Tolleson. Scott got his start in the world of art as an Art Director for Walt Disney Company’s Disneyland, which can be seen in his art style, and has since gone on to build a very impressive resume. Since its inception, Scott has been the mastermind behind DesignerCon’s creative direction and has collaborated with notable companies such as Topps, Kidrobot, Disney, Skybound, Nickelodeon, Superplastic, and many others. He’s also seen a lot of success in his recent toy releases including The Imperial Lotus Dragon, Shards, WNDGO, and Bao. We’re thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Scott over the years and are excited to see what the future has in store for our upcoming collaboration, Vincents.

Introducing the Vincents Blind Box at DesignerCon!
The first DesignerCon phygital collectible will be within our new Vincents Blind Box! The Blind Box will be our mechanism for rewarding participants of our new Vincents ecosystem. On November 18th, the public will be able to purchase a Blind Box both online as well as live at DesignerCon ‘22. Additionally, buyers will have exclusive access to all future Blind Boxes until DesignerCon ‘23, meaning only those who hold a Vincent from the first Blind Box will have access to the rest of this season’s Blind Boxes.

Vincents is working alongside prominent artists in the designer and toy community. Our objective is to explore creative expression and art in both traditional and digital mediums to create phygital collectibles.
